Isn’t the Eletre just the Geeley SUV with a Lotus badge and some tweaks?

It is a nice looker for an EV SUV. A few mates have deposits down. Sadly, im not in the market for a 5 seat SUV.

There are different variants. One has a moveable/foldable rear seat and one doesn’t. Think there are 4 and 5 seats versions, maybe linked to that feature.

I cancelled my Eletre deposit and am waiting for details of the mid-size Type 134.

Communication from Lotus at last…..

Look what just dropped through the door from Lotus.

All about Eletre I know, but a few Emira pics inside and what looks like a lengthy read.

Hang on if you watch the video they end up putting it back in the truck 🙄 must be parts missing 😞
It must be like the Seneca Blue Hethel launch car and UK dealer tour car, looks complete, but not a working AMG engine with a row of batteries in the boot to get it on and off the trailer to go to the next dealer. Pity Matt is not standing in front of it to add a bit of consistency to the look.

Presumably for the Eletre show car it’s missing the electric motors and batteries, so is moved around by a small internal combustion engine? ;)

Or maybe not production spec batteries ie less power/less range. Or perhaps we will wake up one morning and find this electric nonsense has all been a bad dream. Normal service has been resumed, with the government realising their mistake with this issue. 🤞
