Steering Wheel Oscillating

Hey

Is anyone experiencing their steering wheel oscillating quickly intermittently? Upon delivery I found the toe and castor off at front left. That was addressed which cured steering wheel alignment. We checked the road force balance on the 2 front tires, L was 30, R was 10. Lotus replaced left front tire under warranty.

I'm still getting the steering wheel oscillation at speed, albeit intermittent. No vibration at all and car tracks perfectly down road.

Thoughts?

Sounds an awful lot like wheels were not balanced after the tyre was replaced? Or you lost a balancing weight? Maybe worth a quick recheck at your local tyre shop?
If it's a problem with the power steering it would help to mention V6 or i4 as they are different mechanisms.

Sounds simple as that but have had it rebalanced both ny Lotus and my local shop. I was just wondering if it was a byproduct of hydraulic steering, it's an I4. I'll bring to another shop and see how it plays out.

Sure, whatever is happening it is not right. Note that i4 steering is just electronic it's just the V6 that is electro-hydraulic.

Yes, you are correct. My mistake, just checked i4 is hydraulic with an electric pump for pressure.
