Very strange, I contacted Lotus via their website (as it says to do) and they said contact the dealership. A phone call later and no-one had a clue but someone will get back to me, email from the service department saying they will look into it but no-one has heard of an aftermarket package. Did the dealer get it approved for you through Lotus?I now officially have an extended warranty for 2 years from the date the factory one expires. I’m not sure which dealers can offer it but I know Lotus Endeavour can for anyone interested.
Mine will have had everything replaced/repaired when the warranty runs out.If they offer extended on mine they could go out of business![]()
It is explicitly stated on the Lotus website itself: https://www.lotuscars.com/en-GB/lotus-warranty
"Every Lotus car is engineered and manufactured to industry-leading specifications. When you buy a new Lotus, you will start driving with an extensive warranty, covering all key components systems in your car against failure. At the end of your warranty period, you will have the opportunity to extend your coverage, to guarantee years of worry-free driving."
It will be interesting to see what they are charging for it. I'm used to paying around £1,000 per year to Porsche for a 911.
