Software Update and Extended Warranty

Hopefully not just a US option. I have heard nothing from Lotus about its availability in the UK and I specifically asked my dealer to contact me should anything be announced

My car is in for its B service in a week. I'll be asking about an extended warranty along side the servicing work and report back what I'm told.

I now officially have an extended warranty for 2 years from the date the factory one expires. I’m not sure which dealers can offer it but I know Lotus Endeavour can for anyone interested.

Very strange, I contacted Lotus via their website (as it says to do) and they said contact the dealership. A phone call later and no-one had a clue but someone will get back to me, email from the service department saying they will look into it but no-one has heard of an aftermarket package. Did the dealer get it approved for you through Lotus?

Now onto 2nd week of the car at the dealers due to armrest usb's not working and they have no idea how long they'll have it for . The replacement tailgate has arrived and they will need the car for a week for that.

Mine will have had everything replaced/repaired when the warranty runs out.

It will be interesting to see what they are charging for it. I'm used to paying around £1,000 per year to Porsche for a 911.

No prices and Lotus CS tell you to contact a dealer who then say they haven't a clue.
