By the way, can someone tell me what this spring is from? I found it a few feet from the car on the garage floor right after delivery but can't tell if it fell off the car or is totally unrelated.

I put 100 miles on it today. Skittish with the shifter slotting in properly at first but I got the hang of it soon. And it's glorious. I didn't even mind keeping the revs below 4,000. I didn't care if I was behind a slow car. I was just happy to be driving. In fact, I encountered a state trooper with a radar gun pointed right at me and was going a respectable 5 mph over at the time.

I was having trouble with the shifting of my car at first, until I realized the clutch point on the pedal was quite low compared to my other manual cars. As a result I wasn't fully disengaging the clutch and causing hard shifting until I put the clutch pedal to the floor.

If it`s the spring I am thinking of don`t even think about driving it. It could otherwise just be some random spring out of some kids toy......not sure.

Yep, the car stirs the sould regardless of what you doing with it, as long as your in it driving.
