Revising order

I requested a couple of months ago to change from FE manual to FE AMG, no reply.

So I chased up and received flat no, it is not possible to change order.

I am surprised as I would have thought there are loads of potential purchasers of a dark verdant sport black pack cup 2 yellow callipers glacial grey interior with privacy glass.

Did they give a particular reason? I would suspect that means that your car is already in the build process or complete? It might also mean the AMGs are pretty far out and they don't want to 'lose' a buyer that's otherwise locked-in? Did you get a build date?

I think the issue is that your specification is locked in so the dealer would need to receive delivery of your car and on-sell to another customer as-is.

They may not want to take on the hassle/risk of doing this - and in fairness to the dealer I assume you did put down a non-refundable deposit when locking in your spec?
