When removing your rear diffuser, do not remove the 4 middle bolts. These hold a supporting plate for rigidity for the rear diffuser. The removal of these bolts are not necessary for dropping the rear diffuser.

If you do remove these 4 bolts, there is a high probability the plate will come loose and misalign when reinstalling rear diffuser. You will have a hard time remounting those 4 bolts and the bolts will eternally spin not having threaded receiving end in the supporting plate.

If you do mistakingly remove those 4 bolts and the bar comes loose, no worries. Just rethread those 4 bolts into the bar prior to rear diffuser reinstall. Hope this helps. 🙂

Learned this the hard way!

While installing my rear diffuser, a couple of the button head screws were a little sketchy and nearly stripped so i replaced all of them with M6 x 20 Hex head stainless bolts. 😉
