what is the normal engine temperature range-what temp activates fans etc-what temperature changes dash color from blue to red?

Typically I see 185 F on hot and warm days like today. Don't have answers for your other questions.

Had 197 a few sessions on track today. Stock engine. About 60 degrees F ambient.

water temps on mine are 185-200...usually 195 when I look down and this hasn't deviated with pretty hard canyon driving, maybe on track the temps go higher? - modern sports cars tend to run a little warmer this helps with efficiency

also minor note, when I have my engine water temp showing through the OBD2 port it does not ever correlate with the number on the dash, usually lower around 10-15 degrees

that is a pretty large discrepancy-my temp hit 194-197 doing 65 on 90 degree day with over 50% humidity(highway driving) anyone else notice the temp difference from dash to OBD2 port? received car(2024 model) in Feb of this year and have less than 500 miles on odometer.

Depends a lot of ambient temp but rarely seen over 195 even after driving in the mountains but it's not full summer yet.

Here in phoenix, I see 195-200 but very little deviation from that.

Similar here, it seems to settle at 86/87C under normal conditions.
