Quick introduction as a new member. Lightweight manual two seaters have always been my thing, going through two Honda CRX’s in the eighties,4 TVR’s through the 90’s and two Nobles up to the present day. My last Noble M400 I owned for 18 fantastic years, and sold it a few weeks ago after turning 60.
I wasn’t thinking of an Emira originally,I was going down the 650s route til I realised I didn’t fit, then the Evora became a possibility but I think I’ve now decided on an Emira V6. I have one offer in on my second choice cloud scheme, but if that doesn’t pan out then I’m happy to wait for my ideal spec ‘ (Which the moment is yellow, no upper black pack, grey leather, non- diamond cut wheels).
Looking at them has been “challenging” to say the least, but you have to look past the issues if you want something pretty unique in the market place.

Hopefully you find the ideal Emira soon then - then you can join the UK Over-60s Yellow Emira Club :D

I was looking for about 4 weeks until I found mine late Feb, I have noticed that back then there were lot more Emiras up on AutoTrader - many in the batch Auto101 got. Recently there's a lot less listed (especially if you don't include the new cars listings) and prices have also gone up slightly.

Well it looks like the deal is done and deposit paid. Second service and any updates will be done before delivery.I’m slightly concerned that Shadow Grey might be a difficult resale but in the flesh it looks really classy and understated with the silver wheels grey leather

and I wasn’t a massive fan of any of the launch colours anyway.
Ten months warranty and then I can go to Komotec !

Congrats on the purchase. I initially wanted Nibmus but ended up going Shadow Grey too. After spending some time in person with the car, I now wouldn't want any other colour. I totally get why Lotus used it on some early press cars - it's stunning. I too worried that resale might be harder but I figured it just takes seeing the car in the flesh and people will fall for it too. Just need to get them there I guess. That's tomorrow's problem though ;)

Looks great in that dark grey with the light grey seats. Yellow callipers too, so I guess you are forgiven from not getting a yellow one :D
