This weekend is the Monaco Historics, a celebration of previous years of F1 cars. The cars aren’t just on show, they are properly racing - practice yesterday, qualifying today and racing tomorrow.

This year there‘s a celebration of Lotus, Colin Chapman and Hazel Chapman. It’s well worth watching the live feeds and following the coverage on Facebook from Monaco, Classic Team Lotus and others.

The assembled collection of Lotus cars is amazing - 71 cars, all with racing heritage and all being raced this weekend :

And what could be more atmospheric than a JPS-liveried Lotus battling it out with a McLaren through the tunnel…

And sadly Lecrec crashed one of the iconic 1974 classic F1 driven by Niki Lauda

Sadly too, Phil Hall crashed one of the Lotus cars.

Great to see some very spirited racing. Lotus 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the last race.
