We've just received a small batch of Modal dampers from Australia. I met with one of the owners, Andre, and was impressed with their offering. Lotus Australia fitted Modals to their special edition Bathurst Emiras so they have been well sorted. What impressed me is the ease and clarity of adjustment. There are only 12 clicks but each make a significant change allowing non-professionals an easier time when tuning. Of course Modal provide recommended settings as well. We are also just a phone call or email away for tuning advice as well.

At the moment, we have a set of Singles in stock for the Emira V6. Learn more: M1 and M3

Kinda weird question I guess, but if you installed these on a touring suspension car would you be close to a sport suspension setup? I think there sport also has bushing changes, etc., but just curious as to any thoughts here.

There are 12 clicks of adjustment. 1-6 are Street friendly and 7-12 are Track oriented. So finding a perfect set-up is pretty easy. You get the best of both worlds - especially if you are willing to adjust them as you need. Most people find one setting that works for most of their use.

I have a similar question and it is whether or not other parts of an Emira that came with the touring suspension should consider upgrading other suspension components to take advantage of the aftermarket coil overs.

Not really required unless you are focusing on track use. But then there are additional considerations like gaining more front camber from arms, etc.

How do these compare to the Nitron R1 fast road? Should we expect a similar availability issue as the Nitron?
