I did some quick google math. Its only 8 miles/13 min from the C&C meet to the starting spot for the Malibu run. Since we don't run Malibu until 10am I'm going to head to the C&C meet till 9:30 and then go to the Malibu run from there.

yeah this sounds like i can get there earlier for this too. As long as i can drive the car hard on the day.

I can join friday 7/18 gvcb if the start time is after 9am. I have to send kid to a camp in BH and it’s a long drive from there to start point.
