Launch control not working, related to errors

I have a weird issue. Launch control doesn’t work for me on my I4, no CEL and car is otherwise running fine. I check error messages using an OBD reader, no error messages are reported, but I clear errors anyway. After clearing errors, launch control is working again. It’s not like I need LC every drive, but it’s nice when stuff works.

Any ideas/suggestions on what’s going on and how to fix it permanently? For info, I have a TI exhaust and a sports cat from Aerie.

You have to push hard on the brake for it to engage. I thought mine had an issue also.
Try that and let us know. Sometimes I have to hold the gas all the way down while holding brake then releasing, then gas again and it would work

Trust me, I know how to engage LC. Wheel has to be absolutely straight, a firm press on the brakes, throttle to the floor, dash lights up like a Christmas Tree and the I4 makes some great noises

The car absolutely doesn’t go into LC drive after drive, but after I clear codes I can access LC any time I want, just as I outlined previously.
