JUBU Carbon Buckets

Afternoon Gents,

Just wondering if any has, or has seen/sat in the JUBU Carbon Bucket Seats?

I'm aware of the Tillet seats, but before i pull the trigger on one, I'm quite curious about the JUBUs as i love the look!

Same here.... although I'm most likely going to do something with Cobra and their Nogaro seat. Had them in my Yaris GR and they were absolutely perfect in everyway.

I dont think they exist yet. I noticed in their yellow car, Jubu are using Exige seats.

I’m in a similar boat, waiting to see what those look like, and maybe even hoping that they release pictures of their tan configuration.

Do we think the exige seats would work without resistors etc?

You’d think there are some lightly used examples for reasonable prices…

The b10 are nice too, but not as pretty as Jubu

The exige seats don’t have airbags so you’d still need resistors or other work around.

My thoughts are though if the exige seats fit, why don’t people look at the Evora? It’s essentially the same chassis after all. The GT evoras had very good seats

That could work too, the stock seats are too high/puffy/mushy. Not enough feel. They aren’t ugly.

the Evora was originaly a 2+2 so I'd imagine most of the seats are designed to fold forward. Its the lack of bolstering for me on the stock seats. The back section is too wide and there's not enough lateral support. Dropping 1" would be good too.

I wonder how much lighter they are, if heater will work. This could be the best bet. Although this specific price isn’t great

Given the sparcos new are about £2.8 each, I dont think the price is too bad but you'd be buying blind as nobody has fitted them before. Worst case scenario, I'd imagine you'd need some new guides from Sparco but then thats another fee.

I'm taking that as Jubu havent paid the 20k yet but when they do, the product will be available to order. I dont tihnk they're trying to charge 20k+ the seats.

Lotus should offer carbon buckets like these - I'm sure they'd get many takers. The carbon buckets were my favorite part in the G80 M3 (maybe together with the monster engine).

Does anyone make a lightweight carbon seat that folds forward/adjustable back angle? I use mine as a daily, so I need the back shelf for carry on luggage.
