JB4 custom tune Ethanol

First and foremost I’d like to say adding the JB4 has been the best upgrade to date! This was no surprise as they have always woken up the BMW’s I’ve owned.

Now have anyone played with custom tuning on their Emira? I have an E30 tune on my M4 and as big as a difference it was to adding the jb4 running E30 was just as big for that next level. I’m really wanting to move to that level. Anyone out there you know that is currently tuning out cars using JB4. I have a few from the bmw days and could ask them as rich and lean I believe are the same thing regardless of engine. Thoughts?

They sell a fuel-it kit for the emira v6 that ties into the jb4 so you know your ethanol content. I would purchase that first and then see if Terry has any e30 maps available for the v6. I would think any tuner that focuses on the jb4 should be able to create you a custom map

you would need uprated fuel pump and injectors to start but also no way to control pump speed without a ecu tune so your range is limited in that regard.
