Japan - Emira Ownership (エミーラ納車とその後)

Hey guys! Me no speak japanese as well 😃 i wish i could! We’re keeping an eye on the forecast, but we (me and my wife) might be in yokohama since the morning, so maybe just a short taxi from the central area (cup noodles museum or somewhere nearby) to Daikoku? If that’s a problem, we can take a real taxi 👍🏻😁

Doable, however the Daikoku Parking Area is actually a facility inside the expressway. No public transportation in and out, so you will need a ride (taxi is OK) into the area.

As for taxis;

whichever is fine.

the only words i can make out is visita and giappone... anyway, understand the context. will let you know once my schedule is fixed.

Yeah, the forecast deteriorated fast overnight... which I am hoping means that there is a potential to improve. Let's see what it looks like at 15:00 today (approximately 24 hours before the meetup) and decide.

The weather forecast looks worse. Turnout of fun cars in Daikoku will be too low to justify a trip there.
We can, however, grab a quick beer at Yurakucho or Shinbashi, home of the Japanese Salaryman.

Had a great time (and a great pink lemonade) with @virtualmacho today! He’s the man. Hopefully less rain and more cars next time!
Oh, and I did some digging on "pink lemonade". There seems to be a blueberry variant that is bright pink in color, slightly more sour than the usual Meridian Blue blueberry. This is not what was used in the "pink lemonade" at Bubby's, as they advertise it as being made from fresh lemons grown at contracted farms in Hiroshima. The online recipe on the Dole website shows ruby grapefruit juice is added to the lemon juice. Did it taste like that?

「ピンク・グレープフルーツ」という名前のブルーベリー、紛らわし過ぎです。

You did make me jealous! Now i’ve really got to see Daikoku sooner or later. Hopefully sooner. And the Fuji speedway track day…i can’t wait for it. Sounds like my next trip to Japan will be pretty car-intensive, and i love that.

The grapefruit juice might have been there, but more as an aftertaste. Kudos to you for digging that, now i need to find Hethel Yellow lemons.
