How to find out what version of software my car has...

Hey guys new owner here. I bought used from a non Lotus dealer(Import dealership). How can I tell if the car is up to date with the latest software? 2024 4cyl.

From previous answers to this question here on this forum I think the answer is - you can't.
Only a dealer seems to be able to check this - if anyone knows otherwise I would like to know too.

New software released about 3 weeks ago so your car will likely not be up to date with the latest.

My car was titled this June, sold by Naples. I bought it from used dealer after original orderer immediately sold. It needed 5 software updates. V6 manual. I asked for info on versions. Still waiting.

I will try my fancy obd2 reader when I have some time

How long did the software update take? I hear each one could take quite a while.

They said one was very long. 2-3 hours. And that’s if it didn’t crash. Which I guess happens… They had the car for a full day. Seemed like a good turn around all things considered
