Thanks! And right on. The fam and I frequently make trips there. Love it there.Welcome to the forum! I'm just up the road from you in Fredericksburg.
Shoot me a message when you're in town next! How do you like your RS6? I've been looking at those lately. Thanks! And right on. The fam and I frequently make trips there. Love it there.
Sounds good! I’ll hit you up next time I take a cruise up there with one of the car clubs.Shoot me a message when you're in town next! How do you like your RS6? I've been looking at those lately.
I used color factory in dfw. They use a mix of template and bulk. Good shop, I found some places where it’s lifting (I didn’t want any thing disassembled when it was being wrapped) and they will be taking care of it.New member currently in the Dallas area. Got the car about a month ago and I can't stop driving it!
Any recommendations for shops in DFW area that does PPF?
When I had mine PPF’d, I had them use a template for this same reason. No matter how careful you are or how good your shop is, nothing ever goes back together as well as it came from the factory. Given how long it can take to get replacement panels. It was not worth the risk, to me anyway, of a shop cracking a body panel edge or trim piece just for a perfect wrapped edge. Especially when the PPF will eventually have to be replaced anyway.I used color factory in dfw. They use a mix of template and bulk. Look up LOST, Lotus Owners of South Texas. Been around since 92 and at one time was the largest and most active group in Texas. It's gotten quiet since the Elise rush but we still meet once a month, usually the second Saturday, at various eateries. Look up the site. Cheers.Houston might have the strongest and best Emira group there is so I would say have a meet in Houston and we will turn out!
Nice! I'm over here in Fredericksburg. Feel free to let me know if you cruise out this way.Hello all
Live in Lake Tahoe full time,
But bought a get out of the snow house in San Marcos, just south of Austin.
I would be down to whatever is planned. Hit me up on pm, for any fellow Emira comrades to grab a Shinerbock also![]()
