How did you get/choose your forum name?

As the title suggests, wondered how people got their Forum name?
Some seem quite obvious, but others less so

For me, I've used this on forums for about 20yrs. It comes from me spending a lot of time at the beach as a kid and owning a T-Shirt that had Beachbum in big letters on it. From there is just happened to be what I was called for a while and then I chose as a name when registering for forums.

Mine is just ALEX but forum fancy.

I'm that or Verde Ithaca on most places now. Previous forums I was usually Alx+whatever car I had (AlxSTi, Alx300ZTT, AlxGTI, etc.).

Mine is about as obvious as it gets.
Although I think this is the only forum where I've used by real name - not sure exactly why that is though.
