Hethel Yellow Lotus Emira Photo Thread

The last few days of winter are here. Spring starts on Friday - thank goodness. Anyhow, here are a few shots of Hethel Yellow in Oz taken over the last few days. Done a few km and enjoying it immensely. A couple of minor issues but all easily resolvable (no more than any other new car).

Waiting for my ride to arrive… we should have a Melbourne meet thread started here. Hopefully by mid to end of October, most Melbourne cars will be delivered

Sounds like a great idea - always good to catch up and share stories with other owners. Count me in.

Just a few more random Hethel Yellow photos for those that are still waiting for their cars. Ten days of ownership and all going well. Managed to get the HomeLink to work the garage door and gates. Easy to do the Merlin Garage Door but needed to do a work around the FAAC Gate. I love the way I just need the one key fob to leave the house.

First of all Eagle7 - the State of Victoria, Australia has 6.7 million people now and Victoria is very close to the same geographical size as the UK. Only approximately 16 Emira's have been delivered. So only one person in 418,000 has an Emira 😊. I am yet to see another one on the road (but my wife has). The reception has been very positive with most people chatting to me when I park it somewhere. This is my 3rd Lotus (S1 Elise and V6 Exige Roadster prior) and this Emira is in a different class. Its a daily driver and it does serious miles - its not a garage queen - its out every day, rain , hail or....sun as we don't get snow, unless you drive to the ski resorts. I have the V6 Auto spec with touring suspension and love it.
I get lots of thumbs up from the kids and some Adults - if I stop and a pedestrian crossing I usually get a stare, then a nod and a wink - even from the ladies 🤣.

Cachaco131, I like the black pack pack and was torn between the two options- but after asking my wife and kids all three said no black pack. I am glad I went that option - it just looks superb and classic Lotus.

So close to my visual spec- wheels and calipers are different. As others have rightly stated, keep sending pics. Maybe one day next year I can return the favor! Looking to take it out west to the Rocky Mountains and Glacier National park.

I finally contribute some of my pictures as well. Enjoy, and for those still waiting. Do not give up.

Have my Emira since 11/2/2023, now 7000 kms, only use as weekend car, holidays (2500 km trip in Scotland) and few trackdays. Best fun car I had!
