Has anyone heard the Base audio system?

I have surround theater sound at home and do tweak the sound balance so that it feels like I’m in the center of the sound stage but vocals are coming from the front.

In fact I have a microphone that auto adjusts for your seated position for the same purpose.
You know those are artificially generated fake rear as pretty much only sound files pulled from blu-ray concert contains true multiple sound channels.

Pretty much all the newer surround sound receivers have auto adjustment features to account for a large room environment with varies different sound reflection properties to adjust for furnitures, wall material, curtains and such which can vary but a large degree in very home. But you don't really need it in a small cabin in a car which is basically a fixed environment, especially since most of the modern car sound system already take that into account.

So you still get the brightwork line across the doors. That looks good.

My V6 had the base audio system. I can tell you flat out its bad. Volume turned all the way up is 50 to 75 percent the volume I prefer when I want to listen to music loud. Full disclosure, my truck has a $5000 system so that might play into why I find the base system underwhelming. I had the premium Bose in my FL5 Type R, which was decent for a factory system, and needless to say it was in another class compared to the basic Emira system. I would think it was more closer to the KEF system on the Emira.

I had plans to go afternarket anyway and just put in a $7000 (ouch) audio system which is being tuned now. I got a chance to listen to it untuned and at 50 percent volume, I couldnt take anymore. I was getting a headache. But the car wasnt moving and was parked in the installers garage. Still, I think the system was overkill.

Anyway, my advice would be to go for it if you plan on getting an aftermarket setup. You dont need to spend like I did..

If you plan on not upgrading aftermarket, hard pass on the base audio system. Its bad man.
