Getting back into auto mode

Hey guys, new guy with a typical "noob" question so dont get too riled up lol. I like to drive my car in Sport Mode. Often I'll use the paddle shifter to change the gear because the car holds it to long. Once I use the shifter Im automatically in manual mode. What's the fastest way to put it back in Auto mode? Thanks

Hold the right paddle for a few seconds and it will go back into auto.

Also, if you use the paddles it’ll automate switch back to auto with enough time as long as you don’t use them. If you use the gear shifter it’ll remain in manual mode until you hold the right paddle and switch it back to auto.

Nice!! So if I click up into 5 and just want it to go back into auto just pull it back again and hold until the A pops back up? Thanks!

Yep! On my car it will shift +1 gear up when I press to hold it but otherwise it’ll switch back to drive/auto after holding for 2 seconds. You should also be able to hold left and right paddles at the same time for 2 seconds to shift into neutral.

Or, tap back on the shift knob and it will go in to auto.
