Free Lowering with factory setting VS. GRP lowering kit

Circlip position will be the same but spring rate for tour is lower. We have done that and compared to sport.
Interesting. Any idea how much the move from top clip position to bottom translates to gap drop to the tire? 1/4 inch...1/2 inch... 3/4 inch?

Thank you for that... but can you explain this in layman terms.. I am NOT mechanically handy and have no idea what this means. :)

Thanks

Mine has sport spring at the lowest circlip position while my friend's tour also at the lowest position, his sits lower than mine, something like 1/4 to 1/2 inches.

Should be 12mm per groove
I don’t think it’s as much as that. If I’m not mistaken there is 10mm between the highest and lowest slots. 10mm on the shock might mean a bit more than 10mm lowering of the car, but I don’t think it’s much more than that. The drop is noticeable, but still pretty subtle.

On my car I’d estimate about 12mm or 1/2 inch. Sport I4, going from highest to lowest slot on the shock.
