Got round to installing the Eventuri intake today. Took just over an hour.. relatively straightforward, only issue was one bolt and nut that’s a pain to get to.

Added some gold heat wrap to the intake pipe.

The suction / induction noise is just amazing. Throttle response low down in the rev range feels better.

How are you liking the Eventuri a few months later? I just received mine in the mail today from @GRP and am looking forward to installing it. Of course, the improved sound is really my #1 concern closely followed by the associated power gains.

The sound is of course amazing, but you really only notice it if the window is open. Performance-wise there's a definite overall improvement. It's not OMG huge, the car just feels stronger when accelerating. Give it about 100 miles for the ECU to adjust to it.

And (noticeable) difference between eventuri, @GRP and @Aerie intakes? Are they not doing the same thing? Why eventuri over the other ones if thats the case?

I can't speak to the other two since I only have the Eventuri. When GRP did their dyno test day, they were switching them back-to-back-to-back, which showed virtually no difference from stock, and hardly any difference between the different intakes. I think that was because the ECU didn't have time to adjust to anything, so it was basically treating them all like the stock airbox.

Technically they're doing the same thing, insofar as they improve airflow compared to stock. The Eventuri uses the venturi principle to accelerate airflow, so it might have an edge, although without doing time-consuming tests, there's no way to say how much of an edge. You'd have to do a baseline dyno stock, then literally install each brand's filter system, run the car for 100 miles then dyno it. You'd have to do that for each brand's filter to give the ECU time to adjust to it.

I know the Eventuri has a well-documented record of adding power and torque on many other brands of cars, each with dyno tests to back up the claims. I did it on mine, and mine was a true comparison to a completely factory stock baseline dyno. I would say in all fairness, the other brands will probably improve things to some degree compared to stock (which is quite restrictive), which makes their prices attractive if you're looking for some improvement but don't want to spend the money on the Eventuri.
