Q1 2026, but more specifically aiming for mid-late February.

Takes some time to get the changes made
1. Modify mold (depends on the changes, need a new mold if changing design)
2. Produce new prototype sample
3. Fit prototype sample
4. Validate prototype
5. Hopefully its ready to go into production / or repeat

this is a prototype so i got it made in 5mm polycarb.
The original is 3mm tempered glass.
The difference is -500g in prototype thickness (5mm).
Going to shave off 2mm and test again.

So not too much in weight loss, but looks good and helps with heat. I would love to see one tinted, hard to decide how I feel, but that last pic looks good.

Was great to see this in person today. Seeing this hatch in motion is awesome, it really breaks up the upper rear of the car and gives tons of character. Extremely high build quality, quite beefy, big thumbs up for a very well made hatch.

I have to agree, after seeing it in person today, the polycarbonate hatch looks almost OE quality. If you flog this car, this is a nice cooling option and I suspect will shave some ounces.
