Yes, Manuel makes a VERY high quality product. I have the Elise version. It's extremely nicely made. The Emira's shifter is far better than the Elise's was, so I'm not sure if there's much to improve. But there are some provisions for adjustment of the shift throws as he did with the Elise. It's also important to note that his customer service was excellent. He's very helpful in answering questions before and after purchase.

I’m curious how it works with the Emiras interior. Someone asked it I works with a gated plate but they said no.

It won’t work with a gated plate, the reverse lockout collar is the same design as stock.
