Hi Everyone,
I have been browsing these forums for a while now and took delivery of my Emira in April after a 3+ year wait. It was a long wait and almost pulled the trigger a few times on other options but something kept telling me to hold out for the Emira and I am so glad I did. Been busy since taking delivery, but finally getting around to a proper introduction.
Car is still well within my intended "break in period" , just getting familiar with the car but its been great.
Plans are to keep things simple as far as modifications go. Eyeing the GRP short shift kit, 3rd cat delete w/ or w/o controller and call it a day for a while. Ideally would do this after 1K miles with an oil change as many on here have done.
I am located in the Rocklin/Roseville area of Northern CA. I know there seems to be much more of a presence in the Bay area, but if anyone is in and around the Sacramento area it would be awesome to meet up. On that same note, I'm starting to think ahead to routine maintenance. I know Trackspec is about 100 miles from me in Fremont and seems to be an excellent choice, but does anyone have any other recommendations of shops in the Sacramento area that may be able to service the Emira?
Looking forward to meeting anyone local in the future and learning so much from these forums. Everyone on here is so incredibly helpful and informative.
Chris
