Coilover options for i4

Got Nitron R1 coilovers (from GRP) installed today, ride height lowered about 12 mm. First impression was it did not negatively affect ride quality, will be on track in 2 weeks for a first shake out. FYI they are 4lbs lighter than the OEM per corner

Hello - Would love to hear your impressions of this kit. I have the i4 also and have the Clubsport kit on order; it should be here in the next few weeks! Did you change any setting from the way they came? How is the overall ride quality difference? Were you Touring or Sport orginally? Thanks

hi, I didn't notice any huge difference. My mechanic chose moderate settings. It certainly didn't become too harsh. I have touring. Given I've changed a few things in quick succession, it's hard to say how much difference each change made. Certainly, it drives significantly better on track now between the maxed OEM camber, the coilovers, the lighter 18 inch wheels, and new AO52 tires. Let me know what your experience it like!

we have found that you need alot of spring in the front to make up for the lack of sway bar stiffness... 570-600 in the front and 850 rear.

keep in mind this is for i4 so rear rates should be less to some extent and the pressures in the canister vary from manufacturers. this impacts the overall spring rate and damping factors. Moton for instance uses 15bar and Ohlin's is around 8 bar if i remember correctly @kitkat .
