Change configuration after submitting to dealership?

I submitted my configuration earlier this month, but having some hesitation on the color and now would like to make some changes. I’ve heard that the deadline is April 20th to lock in. Thinking about reaching out yo the dealer to potentially make some changes. Has anyone done this? Will I get knocked back a month?
