Centre console dimming

The centre and driver's screen on my Emira have started dimming for no apparent reason, then coming back on again shortly afterwards. Happens while driving during daylight. Ant suggestions why or what to do?

I have a similar problem. During the day, a bright sunny day, I start the car and begin to back out of the garage. The car senses the shade of the garage as night time and dims the panel lights. Once I’m fully out in the bright sunlight it senses daytime and restores the panel lights.
I’m at a loss as to how to correct this.

I can understand this happening when the light switch is on "auto". The solution is to take if off "auto" obviously. But are you saying it happens under a different circumstance?

Same here, just the once, not again. Weird.

This also happened to me, right after I got the car. It only happened once, came back to normal after turning the car off and back on, and it's never happened again. I've had my car since May.
