BMC or K&N air filter options

Does anybody know of BMC or K&N filter options that are available yet? Will the Evora inserts work? I searched and could not locate any info thus far

Greg’s sell the k&n now. Last week he had to figure it out if it was fitting and it is now listed into the emira part section so must be the same as the evora.

Keep this in mind. Lotus has issued a warning about these types of filters, that it can void the warranty.

Those car dont have any warranty anyhow as everything is considered as normal, tolerable and/or acceptable by Lotus & dealer.

Not sure how a cold air filter could void the warrenty. It woukd be difficult to refuse a warrenty claim on a poor panel fit due to an after market cold air kit is fitted.

Read the TSB I posted. They explain in detail how and why a cold air filter could void the warranty. It doesn't mean they all automatically would, but it does give notice that it's a possibility depending on what the issue is with the car.

This is awesome, thanks for sharing. Seems like most issues are from oiled filters and automatic transmissions. If one eliminates those already dubious choices, it would appear intake risk is fairly well hemmed. Would you agree?

I would imagine anyone with money enough for this car can pick up a code reader too. If you pop a code and it has anything to do with the MAF or emissions you best have an OEM filter in the air box when it goes into the dealer. At a minimum make sure its not an oil type they find in there.
