Best Lotus Dealership for Service with 6 hours of Las Vegas

Not sure how much of a DIY person you are or if you need more than a basic servicing, but I’m gonna throw this out there… the hardest part of the oil change was getting the car off the ground (offset jacking points front to rear) and removing the underbody panel. Rest of the oil change was like changing it on a Camry. I figured out how to lift the car with my quick jacks. I purchased the motive tools oil filter housing tool and an offset funnel for filling. It even has a traditional dipstick!

If getting the car off the ground is of concern, I bet renting a garage with a lift would be cheaper than the trip to a dealer.

Just food for thought.

We have a really great team here at Boardwalk. We are one of the highest volume Lotus dealers in the USA so we service a lot of cars.

But we’re ~8.5 hours from Vegas. #forthedrivers?
I would second the recommendation for Boardwalk. Yes I am biased, due to purchase of the Emira from them. My limited experience with the service has been positive (oil change and one minor warranty repair). Ask for “Poh” service manager.

I can also recommend SLC as being very good. And they do a great job washing and detailing my car when I've had it in. Every time I'm there I see McLarens and Porsches getting serviced too, so they seem to have a good reputation.

Also, I'm pretty sure my last oil change there cost $550, I'll have to find the receipt

Sounds like they wised up from the previously mentioned $950 which is good (meaning apparently they listen to feedback).

Next time you are there, also ask them if they are still pushing the $1000 Doc./Admin. fee on new car sales. They should know their sales practices does impact their service business. If nothing else based on the assumption that if shadiness exists in one section, it likely exists in other parts of the organization.

Please let me know - going in next week for minor warranty work and updates, may have the oil done while it’s in if it’s what you recall.

Hey, still better than the previous $900+ quote. Progress, is progress even if slow. BTW, I think the "norm"(for Lotus dealers) is somewhere around $500-$600.
Ya. Their service department is legit. Their lead tech is really good and has a crazy tuned 911 Turbo S
