It's nice to see your "twin" at a meet - it's fun to to "compare the differences" as there are usually some, especially on a Lotus as owners love to mod their cars.Nothing worse than go to a Cars and Coffee and seeing your exact spec across the parking lot. (Lol).![]()
All personal opinion, but I'm a sucker for a Limited Edition. Nothing worse than go to a Cars and Coffee and seeing your exact spec across the parking lot. (Lol). Porsche is also on the Limited Edition gravy train. I've seen some really cool Special Editions and some not so cool. It's nice to have choices.

All personal opinion and I respect yours. But I'm a big fan when auto makers do special editions, even when it's a mediocre paint job.I'm off for special editions but they got to really do something special other than some mediocre paint job.
This is completely bizarre. How is it that private publications are getting the jump on this while Lotus still says nothing?
Btw, I’ve followed lotus for decades and this is also highly unusual based on their historical practices of issuing their own press releases for just about everything. I can see how some believe this is “fake news.”
If this Limited Edition turns out to be legit and its described features accurate, it seems to me a bit of exaggerated fanfare for what appears to be simply the introduction of a new exterior color/finish. All other described features are attainable from the current configurator bin. Just for fun, (as I don't really care for the satin color anyway), I configured an Emira V6 on the Lotus US site with the article's designated specs excluding, of course, the new color, and its total price turned out as $119,300. Curious to see the premium they'll charge for the new color, along with some commemorative emblems.
LOL. This is true. Breaking news never comes from Lotus.I’m not sure why you’d think that, did you miss the last 4+ years where some of us waited for almost 3 years for our cars and constantly broke the news about essentially every detail and step of getting to own our cars far before Lotus ever said anything?
Edit: Ah nevermind you only joined in 2024.
