Went to the dealership for something and had two software updates done (was told they are part of the August update package). The codes are: QBS-131-25010 and QBS-131-25011.

Anyone know what these are for? Was hoping one of them is for the DCT (maybe wishful thinking for it to be the same recalibration update stated for the 2026 models), especially since my car has the low gear bucking problem. Drove home after the updates and transmission felt smoother, but could certainly be just placebo:LOL:

Hey there……first trip to the dealer for my I4’s first service…….after three hours downloading flashes, I’m told it may take another 5+ hours…had to leave the car overnight, and of course, the mechanic was off the next day…..that said, it was at least 8 hours of down loads so it was either a ton of codes or dealers lack of a good internet signal! Now awaiting for Monday to get the code updates. The car does “feel”
better and I have yet to feel the bucking that was present during low gear shifts……..time and a few more will be needed.

Have you noticed any bucking after a few weeks or does it seem the software update improved things?

For what its worth, I haven't had any visit to dealer or updates since that early August visit, but still gets the bucking from time to time (although less frequent).

Thanks for the update! Bummer it's still there, but glad to hear it's at least improved. Does CarPlay/Android Auto disconnect less?

I use Android Auto and it’s never a big problem for me. If it disconnects, it only does it within the first 5 minutes of a new start/drive and it usually reconnects itself within like 10 seconds (and only once per drive).

Yeah I get the exact same behavior with my Android Auto as well. When I did a long road trip it would periodically disconnect throughout the trip until I plugged in.
