What are people using to attach the car key to other keys?
The usual metal ring seems not to fit the Lotus car key, I have tried both large and small rings, with no luck
Wondered if others have had a similar issue and tried other successful options

Interested to hear what they may be.

Given I provided the info, thought I'd ask them when they were getting the 1mm 7x19 back in stock. Turns out they arent :(
They however do thinner wire, that "allegedly" will still work with the 1mm Crimps
Unfortunately its still the 7x7 that I listed earlier, but thinner, so more flexible. Given the price, I would suggest ordering at least the 1mm and the 0.81mm and then maybe the 0.72 and then a number of the Crimps, to see which works best.

They also do this stuff:
But no idea how well the plastic sleeving will work with regards to overall thickness

Thanks for going the extra mile on the research! I'll do as you suggested as I'm sure the postage will be the main cost.

on Amazon you can buy a Tesla key fob attachment. it consists of thin cord that attaches to Lotus key and a ring on the other end. I use it and so far so good.

I think the most commom solution is to use a key pouch and put other keys on its key ring.

I bought the key fob case, couldn't fit diddly into that small slit of a shyte they call a slot.

I am trying to keep the volume of it all down, so the key fob case is a last resort for me.
The device Mr.Suntorytime has posted about seems to be ideal, issue for me is getting them to the UK.
Having said that, he also said that to install his attachment, you have to take the fob apart a bit and if that is the case, then other options might be possible

I always keep my Scorpion tracker fob separate. Doesn't do much good as an anti-theft/anti-joyride device if the person or valet taking the key also has the fob.
Exactly, me too. Tracker fob goes in my left pocket. Car key in the right pocket. I never give the tracker fob to anyone, I just use the app to allow the garage to use the car without any notifications.
