Well that is one difference - once the spec has been accepted by Lotus in the US you are locked-in, no refunds. I have seen others mention a second down payment, but I have not been subjected to that with my dealer. However, as I mentioned my dealer has guaranteed the price I was quoted at lock-in, I cant speak for other dealers in the US- just assumed they locked-in a price too.

Every dealer seems to be different here in the US. I was told and confirmed via email that my original deposit ($3k) from July 15th, 2022 was fully refundable right up to delivery. This was confirmed again via email when I was offered a 2.0 build slot submitted on August 29 with a projected build in April and delivery in May/June.. No additional deposit was required to submit my spec. They seem to think they won't have any trouble moving an Emira here in Southern California should I decide at the last minute to decline delivery.
I am under this same impression. What I was told at initial deposit and before I submitted my 2.0 order. Unfortunately I don't have the second confirmation on this in email, only through texts. Not sure if that's even binding in the word of the law.
I can confirm the adaptive cruise control function is not supported on the I4 Emira delivered in China. Just the basic cruise. No straight answer from Lotus whether this might be added as an update or suchlike at a later date.
