Can you Permanently Disable Collision Avoidance?

It looks like all MY2026 Emiras will be equipped with a driver aid or ADAS. One of the aids will be an autonomous braking system that automatically applies the brakes if the radar/camera detects an obstacle. From what I read, auto manufacturers are being pressured to include these in all cars and they do not work very well. A false positive can be generated by rain or the sun's reflection.

I read in the owner's manual you can disable the collision avoidance system which turns off the autonomous braking. Does anyone know if disabling collision avoidance is permanent or you have to deactivate it every time you start the car? I can picture myself forgetting to disable it in the middle of a track day and the autonomous braking causing a lot of people to have a bad day.
