I have an Emira FE and use a Google Pixel 9. I connect Android Auto wirelessly to my Emira. The Waze volume for notifications (e.g. red light camera ahead) and directions are very low. I have the navigation volume on Waze all the way up. I can make Waze louder if I turn the Emira volume up (via the knob), but then the stereo is way too loud.

Does anyone know how to increase the volume for Waze?

You have to turn the volume knob while Waze is speaking.
It can be done from the "hidden" settings on the head unit too. there are individual settings for Master, Phone, Media, Messages, Navigation etc..

The Emira has a "hidden" volume control that affects the overall maximum loudness of the system, which is set low (around 50-75%) from the factory.
  1. Ensure an audio source is active (e.g., radio, Bluetooth audio, etc.) and playing.
  2. Turn the physical volume knob located on the center console. A volume bar will appear on the infotainment screen.
  3. Touch the down arrow icon that appears at the right end of the volume bar on the screen. This action opens the Master Sound Control menu.
  4. Adjust the master volume level (or any of the individual volume levels) within this menu to your preference. There can be a significant increase in audio output and quality after raising this level.
These can also be accessed from the Audio section of settings - same place where the Equalizer settings are located, the down arrow on the volume indicator bar is just the quicker way to get there..
