Alcantara Upgrades - Airbag & Guage Surround

I upgraded the airbag and gauge surround to Alcantara thanks to @GRP. I really like the way it turned out. Looks much more cohesive to me now and feels much better. Those two pieces were about the only items that you see in the interior that were not wrapped in leather or Alcantara. Gerg's people did a great job. I was able to remove (most) of the yellow stickers from my Sunvisor's, or I would have asked him to have those wrapped also.

Maybe he would be up for a group buy on the Sunvisor's.

Oh thats cool. I dont love that part on the car. That piece seems cheap and it is nice to seemore options aside from carbon fiber.

Assume your local to GRP. Would be great if they had them on their site. I'm not a huge carbon fan but I do like the Alcantara

I didn't know Greg offered bespoke interior work like that - he is a true supporter and enthusiast. Really looks great!

Same question, I would love the surround to have red stitchings to match my interior, been thinking of upgrading my steering wheel with alcantara and carbon fiber with red stitchings. Having that would just complete the set.

I prefer this over Carbon Fiber also.

I am not local to GRP, live in the MIdwest. I contacted Greg earlier in the year to see if he could help with the custom work. As most know about Greg, he was happy to offer assistance and have his upholsterer take a shot at wrapping the parts. I shipped the parts to him, and he forwarded it to his place, same process in reverse. It took a while but was well worth it. Great job and reasonable price.

He offered to have contrasting stitching, but I opted for black as all the other Alcantara was black stitched. This is not on the website, you would have to ask Greg directly. I did ask him about making this post and he was fine with it so I beleive he would be open to helping others.

I think he could accommodate your request. Since you would be doing this all at once, the red thread should be a match.

He really does support this group. Again, if i had not been able to clean my Sunvisor's up, I would have asked him to do those also as those yellow stickers ruin the interior.
