Aircon - How long and how hot?

I'm not going to post this in the problems section as I dont know if it is a problem as such. I've noticed that my aircon/heating takes for every to start generating heat and when it does, it doesnt seem to get very hot.

I'm trying to gauge if this is 'normal' (for a Lotus) and I've just been spoilt with BMW aircon or if I have a problem.

When you say forever, how long?
Yes it should be quite hot, easily 25C

A good five minutes or so. I'm going to have a proper look at it over the weekend and see how long it takes and how hot I can get it but I’m not convinced it’s not just heat from the engine I’m getting like you would if the ac was turned off and your just using the normal heating system

I'm sure others will be a long to correct me if I get this wrong, but I believe that the heat you get through the vents, is only from the heat from the engine. There is no separate heater matrix just for the cabin
