Nimbus > shadow > zinc

1. Nimbus

[about a country mile]

2. Shadow

[About a country the size of Canada]

3. Zinc

Osmium silver is also rumored as a base color. We haven’t seen this in the flesh but Osmium “grey” is a Volvo color and can give us some estimation.

With white, zinc grey, osmium silver, nimbus grey, shadow grey, black: I think the neutrals are more than covered. Lotus should drop 2 in favor of orange and a real green.

Edit: my choices would be to drop osmium silver and shadow grey, because osmium is close to nimbus and meridian blue is a better color on the dark end than shadow.

Seems crazy to offer 4 grays. Maybe the plan is to discontinue FE colors after year 1, which would leave us with Osmium and Zinc (which are really close together, and imo Zinc does not look good, wish they'd go more chalk with it).

Nice work. What’s your favorite?

Edit: NV we agree on Nimbus

I saw that silver Emira when I was at the LDA. I was told it is not Osmium Silver, but rather a pre-production car that was painted with an on-hand silver paint, probably from the Elise or Evora color palette.

It looks like the previous Elise/Exige Arctic Silver, which I saw on a pre-prod car at the factory in January.

Interesting. I was fooled, since it seems to have a cooler blue tone which Osmium should, in theory, also have. But that would explain why zinc and osmium look too similar.
