Just had the Lotus update for cleaning up some of the most irritating of the Nanny features on the 2026 Emira models done at my local Lotus dealership. It was a 15-20 minute process which removed the code which propagated the Lane change warnings, the speed warnings, and the fatigue alert as well. They did charge for a hour of labor but it by far was worth it to get rid of these intrusive warnings. It is so nice to see a clean center console screen without blinking signs, false lane change warnings, which interrupt music on the Entertainment system, and the periodic as well as condescending "fatigue alert" banner. I highly recommend this update, even though we have to pay for it and it should have come to the US market this way !
