Do you have a link to how its done?The gears you’ve mentioned are the ones that a lot of people have had issues with and can be fixed by adjusting a plate under the shifter boot. I’d ring a Lotus garage first and get the issue registered ASAP before your warranty runs out. You can then decide to have a look yourself (the adjustment is pretty easy) or get a Lotus healer to look at it.
When does the warranty start then? And how do we check on our ours?A quick update. Turns out the warranty ran out yesterday, it isn't until the car is registered on the road at all.
Bad luck or what.
I also assumed it was from the date it was registered.
The Warranty Registration Date shall be the first occurring of the following dates:
- The date on which the vehicle has covered 65 miles (100 km);
- The first anniversary of the date of delivery of the vehicle to a Lotus Retailer by the Company;
- The date of first registration (road licensing), including registration of vehicles used as demonstrators; or
- The date of delivery of the vehicle to the first retail owner
I didn’t need to do it for mine as a Lotus tech did it when my gearbox was replaced. I know a few people on here have done it, so I’ll let them comment.Do you have to remove all this out? Are those screenshots off Instagram?
Can you give me a page number etc for that, or a photograph, please? I have the following booklets:Well someone did something wrong then, my quote is off the original Warranty booklet. Maybe someone missed a key or something
