My Specs:
Emira I4
Hi, next year I"m ditching the Type R (overheating issues) and will make the Emira my primary track car (it did 7 track days in 2025). With this focus I'm looking to
a) Max out stock camber
b)Try to switch to 19 inch wheels. Has anyone accomplished this succesfully?
c) Consider coilovers - has anyone done this?
d) Move towards squaring the tire widths, say to 265 front, and stay 295 rear

While I found the Emira fantastic to drive on track (I have the I4), with some work, I think it will be much better.

Thanks in advance!
Bruce

I’m at around -2 all around and could use more. I’ll be on Ohlins TTX around christmas time, having dampers revalved and resprung. 19” is no issue, 18” is possible too. I have a set of wheels coming that are 9.5” and 11” and i’ll be running a 275/305.

What specific tyre sizes are you planning to run @kitkat?

I was looking at going wider up front but was concerned that if the rolling radius between front and rear had too much difference it would cause issues with TC etc. Thoughts on that?

275/35/19 and 305/30/20 since the wheels i’m getting are a double stagger.

This keeps things within less than 1 percent deviation of original rolling circumference. You’ll be fine within a couple percent difference likely. I also don’t really drive on track with with aids on so this matters to me even less than most — should be fine on street with aids on still.

Same widths and aspect ratio should be fine in 19/19, and you’d need to play with a 40% and 35% aspect ratio for 18” likely. Not sure what tire selection is like for those or if people are going slicks.

I’m doing some Nankang CRS or Vitour P1 in my sizes.

thanks - how did you get to -2 all around? 275/305 sounds great - what tires will you be using?

So you already have 18" all around without any fitment problems? What tires are you using?
the wheels will be here end of the month.
you would need to install the Parking brake relocator i sell in order for the wheels to clear the rear.

I’m a little bit lowered on cups right now and -2 was fine for my alignment shop to get. Tires will be either CRS or P1
