I do not think Lotus will change the engine set up at all. That chassis would not handle the way it does with another 100hp for sure and that would be against Lotus culture. I can see a Cup Edition for road, maybe or a GT4 road going edition. They already posted some storys of their nonroad...

I absolutely agree. I do love the larger displacement V8s too tho. I have a Camaro ZL1 1LE and hands down the best spunding car i have ever had along with my old Huracan.

I never liked the AMGs V8 sound. Cant imagine an Emira sounding that way lol Love my SC V6 and the sounds that makes.

A V8 would be AMGs twin turbo set up.. doesnt interest me much.. Love the power and weight ratio of current both set ups.. That biturbo V8 and Lotus weight and chassis hust not a match. But if they source a NA V8, now that can be pretty cool. Adaptive cruise control etc, wont do nothin for me...

Tunability of I4 is amazing.. Imagine that thing with just boot ons and a e85 set up! Sick

a manual GT4RS would have been dreamy.. imo that car is the best rs car in Porsche line.. drove the new gt3rs too and easily i can say the gt4rs is a better enthusiast car.. those induction noises are nsane in cabin.. However price wise is it a two times more of a car than an Emira? hell no.. at...

I just dont think Lotus is about being fast.. its about chassis, engagement and weight/power ratio.. I personally love manual cars.. and no way i could get an Emira that is not manual.. I think what he was trying to say , “get the I4 is much faster” shouldnt be the reason to choose the I4...

Two close friends, both purchased new.. Both went back to shop for check engine lights. One was misfire.. later on thermostat.. other one in shop for 3 weeks for engine light to be still figured out.. And yeah read some issues in our FB group too. I feel like Lotus is just Mclarens, some are...

Cant imagine having a Lotus in auto. But if its the i4 only option, all the issues i read in this forum would keep me away from it alone. At $106k there are way better paddle shifting cars imo. But at $105k there are no alternatives at all, also V6s seem problem free due to Toyota reliability.

I dont have any of those issues in my V6.. Lotus build quality is far from great so i think some will have some will not. Just like Mclarens, British couldnt get the build quality up to German level yet..

I am local as well, i would aboid Lotus DC at all costs. They are absolutely the worst from sales to service. They are absolutely lack of knowledge. Had two friends who had nightmare experience wt them. I would take it to a good shop and pay out of pocket to get it over with.

Man seeing so mani I4s down makes me sad, its terrible for their value. As a V6 owner, i drove a friends I4 and its an awesome set up for the price and for someone who is not a manual enthusiast. Hope Lotus resolves all the issues instead of coming out wt bunch of bs editions.

Update.. before a good wash i wiped the left sensor wt some wd-40 and now problem seems to be gone..

437 miles as of today and my left front sensor has its own world lol.. started doing about 100miles ago or something.. It does not bother me at all as i never pay attention to parking sensor help.. I turn off the sound and im ok wt it.. when i go get my oil change i will get it looked at...

2025s here sold for $105.5k so far as msrp. Now tariffs being a factor too.

I am happy i got mine at the right time i guess.. At $115k i was losing sleep as honestly Emira is a $100k worth car in my eye.. No way i could pay a penny more than $105k and $10k extra for the color i really wanted..

Yes sir thats the one!!! My local dealer really terrible, so i contacted Phili and they did not disapoint. From start to end, they were flawless with great service! Calipers done by Prestige Auto Design in Manassas, VA. They are a great PPF shop but they do some stuff like calipers in house too...

Same here i have never done color wrap on any of the cars i have owned. You either own that unique color or not.. Especially on cars like Porsche, Lotus, Ferrari, Lambo etc

Acid green and isotope a bit different, acid green doesnt have that many flakes at all..

Full PPF and caliper paint match done. Came out awesome. I really did not like the black calipers with black wheels so this was a must for me 🤣
