I heard on the Radio, it is heading into administration and not liquidation (yet). Maybe there’s a chance a buyout of the business will still happen and carry on with production as planned. Heres to hoping that is the case for the sake of the country’s manufacturing and tech sector...

Don’t think charging more to travel by car will drop Scotlands tourism. Like in the French Alps, a tourist tax is a way to improve facilities and infrastructure to attract more tourism in fact. Places like Edinburgh and Isle of Skye is always over subscribed without any vacancies all year...

I’m totally ok to pay per mile charging….. and have waaaay better public transport system in Scotland. The remote areas and tourist areas needs controlled traffic to be fair. NC500 is constipated during peak seasons and the wear and tear & facilities needs proper investment

Scotland is totally rubbish and not worth visiting at all….. I would keep away from the roads. It is not pretty nor fun to visit anyway, and the food & drinks are utter rubbish. I’m not even going to mention the sceneries…..

In Scotland here. Nothing wrong with increasing public transport use. Public transport in Scotland is shocking at the moment. They will be massively taxing us then….

Well, Parks Lotus has just called to cancel my test drive as their Emira has been off the road for an “unknown” issue and have not returned on the road yet. I’m not too bothered as the roads are fairly icy in Scotland. They will call me to rearrange once it is back and hopefully in better...

Lots of cars use ABS modulated E-diff,… my wife’s VW GOLF GTE has it on the FWD. it’s fairly intuitive on the road and tidied up turn-ins predictably. Not so good for track I suppose, if you want to carry speed through a corner.

Would be easier to swap out basic seats if they were not heated and not paid a pretty ££££ for them in the first place…. Base spec makes a lot of sense for that…

I think I4 base with drivers pack (single piece rotor, sports suspension option and track settings) plus forged wheels will the lightest one…. For the driver. Add your own choice of optional interior fabric….or replace the seats with lightweight buckets. I’m waiting to see pricing and option...

A sizeable price drop in the used car market might be the hammer blow to their ordering books….. a product that is not reviewed as being excellent, iffy quality and poor customer care….. hmmmm That 2.5hr drive to my nearest lotus dealer now seem a bit too much of a stretch……

Something tells me the China market is their main priority given how many Chinese cars were on the line when Harry M visited. Anywhere else, less of a priority and UK market share will be tiny in comparison and US market not big either. It’s their company sadly. And having just watched Harry...

I hate to say it and I hope it won’t happen, but I will be in exactly the same position if the price is not fixed as originally stated. I will head towards other used performance cars or even the new M2 queue….
