Yes, I certainly agree with that. That said, I've never bought an enthusiast car worrying about exit strategy....if that was the case, I wouldn't have touched the emira.

Would you use the same logic for a pdk gt3? It sure was a superlative car when I owned it. The dct emira is a very visceral car....and as more reviews of the 400hp car are coming out, they are proving such.

According to Lotus NA engineer, and there's only three in the US, the campaign that took care of the sluggish gear selection issue also helped smooth out the shifts via the cpu/tcm....no reduction in HP/torque. Amen

The software update for r n 1 is absolutely night and day. I no longer need to look down at it. I'm driving post software updates and there's no change by the seat of my pants in powertrain performance.

I've sent the connectors to sprint booster and burger to see if they have compatible hardware and software. I believe a throttle controller coupled with a piggy back (I do this with all my cars) absolutely transforms the car with little to no warranty worry....imo

Side note.....have been emailing back and forth with tdi.....they are super quick and detailed in their responses. I see that as a great sign.
