    USA/Canada Delivery Thread

Galpin definitely left a bad taste in my mouth early on, which I why Eurocar got my deposit and ultimately my business. But even then, they acted completely unaware of a trickle charger when I was picking my car up. Luckily this forum prepared me well, so during pickup I asked to receive the...

Spotted: Emiras seen in the wild

Black Emira spotted on the 405 south in Irvine today just after 5pm, got on at Culver Dr. (Was bright sun so pretty sure it wasn’t Dark Verdant). Anyone here?

New special order color: Racing Green

Thanks but I was thinking mainly the actual option cost for those paint colors.

New special order color: Racing Green

Thanks. So I’m guessing it was a big upcharge for the colors. And I know you haven’t received yours yet but just wondering if there are any photos of actual Tangelo cars out there in the wild. The full car renders we saw were pretty bad as compared to what the chip looked like.

New special order color: Racing Green

Hmm… so we may be up to 4 different different greens now, but only 2 available to order. And just curious can you give a quick rundown on the spec of the deep green you have in inventory?

New special order color: Racing Green

Good info, I’m now clear that EOS Green” is a different shade than “Deep Green”. Would you know if the Jim Clark edition is one of these greens or a completely different one?

New special order color: Racing Green

Yea it’s a cool color for sure and like most colors it looks great on the Emira. Would LOVE to see it in person and the new green AND isotope AND purple all in one place! Maybe one day! But it’s still not orange enough for me! Add chrome orange to that line up of Emiras I’d like to see in...

New special order color: Racing Green

Well the new green is impressive and I agree with many others on multiple points: 1. It is what verdant should have been and it should have been one of the launch colors. 2. I might very well have chosen this one over Seneca. Would be awesome to try it with yellow stripes. But, with that...

    2027 Changes

    >>many were delayed due to the shipping accident/bridge collapse in >>Baltimore (0 deliveries between 12/19 and 3/17). I think you're confusing years/events here. The bridge collapse was in March of 2024, not March of this year. My car was on the first ship to make it through after they opened...

Post a pic of the car you replaced with your Emira! And impressions too.

BC definitely has some beautiful scenery. The sea to sky highway from Vancouver to Whistler would be my pick if I could teleport my Emira there!

300ZX TT 5 speed, bone stock. Not sold yet, but pressed for garage space so maybe soon. Hard to think of parting with it after 30 years of ownership though.

Loving the photo and the scenery! Looks like a nice place for a drive, in either car!

    2027 Changes

Similar thoughts. Here in my neck of the woods in So Cal where people seem so desperate for the next shiny object that's different from their neighbors (where else can you spot a VinFast and a Fisker Ocean in the same day?), I think Lotus EVs could actually have a chance against Porsche EVs...

My Eurocar pickup was clean, no issues. Make sure they give you your trickle charger though (check the sticker when you get there to confirm this is still included). Congrats, your wait is almost over!

    2027 Changes

I do stand corrected @LotsOfTriumphsUsuallySexy on the Roadster battery placement, thanks for that info. I see now that it was vertical right behind the seats. So cleaning up the cobwebs out of my aging brain I now remember it was Jeremy Clarkson’s review of handling of the Roadster that I...

3rd round of Redundancies at Lotus 😞

However it IS possible to miscalcuate a decision based purely on financials while completely ignoring your most loyal fan base (and potential future customers). Prime case in point in the news today as I'm sure we've all seen.

    2027 Changes

While I love the Elise, and thought the Roadster was pretty cool (and now obviously extremely rare, almost never see them even here in So Cal), I can remember reading an article, maybe posted in this forum, that examined the deplorable weight balance compared to the original. I guess due to the...

    2027 Changes

Been searching for the actual transcript of the earnings call to confirm or deny what this may actually mean and think I found one. Parsing through the vagueness is similar to gleening what the fed governers are telling us and trying to predict which way the stock market will react. In this...

3rd round of Redundancies at Lotus 😞

Autocar released their take on the call in this article today. Their impressions parallel what’s already been stated but with this interesting takeaway that no one seems to have mentioned yet: “The current four-cylinder Emira Turbo, which uses a Mercedes-AMG petrol engine, appears to on the...

    Hello from the PNW USA

Would sure like to, and do a reunion from last year. But my car and I are in So Cal now for the foreseeable future. Will be looking forward to seeing your pics from the event though! :)

Cars and Coffee events in So Cal

Yep, bingo, not on the website. Also, most if not all gatherings of the Lotus Club of So Cal are north of LA, (and now after checking Instagram I see this is the case with this upcoming drive), whereas my preference is to stick to OC and parts south. Too bad no chapter devoted to Orange County...

Spotted: Emiras seen in the wild

Ah, High Wycombe. Long time since I’ve heard of that name, Spent some time there as well as in the very quant town of Marlow nearby along a narrow sliver of the Thames. Had an interview there once for a job. They flew me all the way over from US and were so cheap they had me stay over the...

Spotted: Emiras seen in the wild

No matte colors from the factory so def a wrap or satin PPF. And two factory grays, shadow and nimbus (dark gray and a more medium grey with bronze tones).

Cars and Coffee events in So Cal

I didn’t see any drives listed for LCOSC, just track days (did I miss something?) which is one reason I’m making the hike to SD. Also because I’m in OC and hate driving into (and through) LA to get to the nice bits.

Exclusive Paint option for 2025 cars

I too am in California and hoping to avoid the dreaded trip to the DMV by having the tools on hand to install it on the spot. Not sure that will work out for me, and of course won't work if I get one while parked and away. After I moved to California many moons ago, I drove my Z28 for 7 years...

Pricing now up on US Configurator

Just noticed pricing is now up on the US configurator. Interesting to see that some formerly additional cost options on the first editions are now no cost (Alcantara steering wheel is one I noticed but with an upcharge for the color stitching/TDC markers). Interesting also is that you can get...
