I haven't seen one positive comment from anyone who's ordered through Dallas Lotus. If anyone....Anyone is happy with Lotus of Dallas please repsond and I'll delete this post
Agreed with all the previous posts. You may want to buy "track insurance". Its not cheap but almost all traditional insurance policies are void on a race track, even if your only doing HPDE.
Lastly talk with the organizer and find out who the chief instructor is. You should speak them...
Like for like the Manual transmission version of the Boxster / Cayman always command a price premium in the secondary market. That price premium increases as the cars have aged b/c the vast majority of "new" cars sold by porsche come with the PDK making the manual trans models rarer and more...
respectfully...Its not an opinion, its fact. Resale values and long term desirability is not subjective. The price these cars change hands at is easy to determine with a quick search of BaT sales history
I disagree. Look at the Boxster/Cayman turbo 4. it was a sales flop compared to the flat 6. And the depreciation curve / resale value for the 4 cylinder version is significantly lower than its flat 6 counterpart. A quick search of BaT sales history clearly shows turbo 4's are not the...
I've seen some good and not so good comments about dealers now the Emira is being delivered. It might be helpful to customers to hear from those who are willing to share their experiences, good, bad, ehhhh etc.
14 June 2024 update - Fellow Emira buyers. When the time comes to pick up our new toys its easy to get caught up in the moment and overlook things that'll be an annoyance later. So in order to keep the logic side of our brains functioning during what is an emotionally charged time, I've...
Hmmmm...Remember Colin's motto? Simplify and add lightness. Unless parts made of heavier materials are replaced, all of this double sided tape sticky-on-bits only lightens the buyers wallet and increases the car's drag coefficient. Maybe we should leave the 3m tape "bling" to the honda tuner...
CARB Cert only for the v6 with the manual. No mention of the auto or i4 DCT. Good chance that anyone who didn't order a V6 with a Manual Trans will have to wait for the next CARB certification.
Yea...I was pretty early with a Jan 2022 deposit but all the FE1.0 allocations at Gator had already been spoken for. I was happy to get a FE 2.0 spot. Price increase stinks, but I crossed shopped this against the 911S with a manual and later with the 911T. Porsche prices for options are...
The the price increase between the FE 1.0 and FE 2.0 is annoying but understandable given the rate of inflation since 2022. I just look at it as if I paid 10K more for a paint color option that wasn't initially available
I selected the two most important options....V6, and a Manual transmission. Osmium Silver, red calipers, full black pack, Alcantara seats and steering wheel. Dec 2022 order. Should take delivery in April/May timeframe.
