The Dash limiters are hard coded in the dash. Changinng the rev limit in the ECU will not change what the dash displays.

There are many ways to do it. on the Emira ECU, there are NBD/JTAG pins, however the PCB must be reversed to find them. so we killed 2 birds with 1 stone by deballing the chip, putting it on our Dev board, and now we can reverse all pins on the PCB

If you want my honest answer, no. The DCT is newer tech, better tech, and will perform better. IF I had to get an auto Emira I would get the AMG. There are many readily available modifications for that engine.

Sorry I did because I saw you have an AMG, which has every protection possible and then some. So it's really engine dependent

We haven't even been able to do anything to our emira. It isn't flashed or touched. Has like 300 miles on it. We only got 2 days of issue free driving on the damn thing

Our emira is going back to dealer, and possibly losing it to lemon law due to ongoing issues. We are sorry guys, our development is at a snail crawl right now due to this.

Yep, we do this all the time on other platforms. Some manufacturers update tunes and use this to tack on extra cost on the new cars, as a selling point. We will see what lotus does.

That's on our list. We actually want to buy an Auto to pair with our manual, but the auto v6 Emira seems to be quite rare, and only in less desirable color combinations. We are nearing full release of our complete Evora IPS TCU tuning solution, and it's the same setup.

Yes that is our goal, to have everything available for the end-user to be able to do from home. Load new maps, flash back to stock, etc. Tuners and shops will also be able to get access to the tables as well to provide custom tuning.

Real ECU tune will far exceed "just making more boost" like these piggybacks do. I don't see any of these doing anything to rev limit, response, TCU mapping, etc etc etc. All these piggybacks do is fake boost. Yea, that makes more power. But what it doesn't do is match ANY of the torque...

Understood. We are pretty confident we have a solution for the i4 Emira, problem is...we are having a very hard time getting our hands on an ECU. Local dealer doesn't know the part number for it and can't order us one because they need a VIN and such for it.

It is not exactly the same, it uses a new chip. But the calibration is no so different. Updated, but still same bones. I'll get into detail on it soon

I can show the code that this is to be the case in lotus code on the T4 and T6 ecus. I'm not here to make hype or drama. We reverse engineer their code, and what was said stands. On their T6 ecu the code is very bare bone. It is not even comparable to other OEMs.

We may have a solution for the AMG emira. Will know more soon on that.
