I really don't want to waste the stock pads but my car has the new gloss version of the diamond cut and in a 20 mile trip they are all matte looking from the dust. I'm gonna try to stick it out but Im not sure how long Ill last before I say screw it and switch.

I made sure the Emira was drivable on my regular sneakers on the test drives. I wear an adidas size 10.5. I would like to get a nicer pair of driving shoes but its not high on my priority list.

I've had cars sit way longer than 3 weeks and not get flat spots. I wouldn't worry about flat spots till you are in the multi month realm of storage. That said remember to check your pressures after a 3 week sit though.

Just did a nationwide search on autotrader for 2025s and there's a good selection of nice specs still out there. I still don't think they will deal too much as there's no inventory to replace what they sell but I imagine you can get a few bucks off. If your spec is available snag it up now...

That battery backup is a must. I ran a blackvue without the battery backup on a work truck for a year and it crushed the stock battery to where startups were a gamble. For the Emira I think Im going to run Garmin Mini 3s. Im hoping I can get some good side angles and run 4 of them.

I saw some pics where the tint didnt look good with the defroster lines. plus I was worried about the heat factor from the engine. To match the privacy the shop did 15% tint on the windows and I had them do the windshield in 50%.

Exactly. Its a Lotus, not a special run Ferrari. It will depreciate, bottom out and then ride with inflation. Manuals will get a little bump but otherwise spec doesn't seem to mater much. Buy them to drive them. If you can find your spec used go for it and reap the savings.
